rEIO is an integrated and cost-effective solution from Tyrrell Systems for the remote monitoring and control of digital inputs and outputs in the field.

Many digital I/O modules rely purely on interfaces such as RS-232 for their communications with the host. As a result, that host (typically a PC) often has to be located physically close to the I/O module and/or is limited as to the number of modules to which it can interface without adding a multi-port serial card or line-driving hardware.

rEIO, on the other hand, comes complete with built-in protocol conversion that allows the host to communicate with the I/O module over IP and thus be located where it is most convenient for the end-user
