Fire is one the most serious dangers we face. The suffering and financial losses are incalculable therefore reliable and effective fire alarm management is essential. Whether installed in a commercial or residential building, fire alarm systems can save lives and reduce property loss. Tyrrell Systems integration products provide interconnection and communication between many of the leading fire alarm equipment manufacturers and sub systems. Our independent approach combined with our technical expertise enable us to provide the optimum integrated fire solution to meet your needs. The levels of fire integration vary in sophistication ranging from a single control panel and associated detection connected to the building managements system to a fully networked solution employing multiple fire alarm panels connected to a centralised graphical reporting system or third party management system. With critical communications paths fully monitored our comprehensive alarm management systems and products ensure that the end user is always aware of the status of the remote fire systems. Systems can be configured and engineered to monitor all aspects of the fire alarm system from conventional detection zones through to the more advanced analogue addressable system. Gas suppression systems, sprinkler systems and high sensitivity smoke detection can all be monitored for alarm, communications and fault conditions. Manual intervention or remote control functions with confirmed actions can also be incorporated within the system design enabling phased alert & evacuation processes and other shutdowns to be controlled. Where a graphical user interface is required, Tyrrell Systems have designed and developed the CrossTalk application. Designed primarily as a dedicated fire system monitoring graphical user interface, Crosstalk enables an unlimited number of dynamic icons depicting the individual fire detector or alarm generating equipment to be assigned to a background map or wallpaper depicting the building floor plan or site layout. Through a sequence of area navigations located on the overview or home page, the user can effortlessly navigate to the alarm event. With graphical representation of alarms coupled to the alarm management, event history management and the panel interrogation facility, CrossTalk provides the end user and facility management teams with clear and accurate alarm information of safety critical fire alarm systems.
